We send SMS (text messages) to your registered mobile number only in two specific transactional scenarios: (a) a 6-digit verification code when you request to log in via phone authentication, and (b) an invitation message containing an app-download link, sent only when an existing user explicitly selects you from their address book to invite. We do not send marketing SMS, promotional broadcasts, or recurring messages. SMS delivery is operated by Amazon Web Services End User Messaging. To opt out of all future SMS from Join, reply PARE (Portuguese) or STOP (English) to any message you receive — your number will be excluded from further sends. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
